10481 A very large pair of Japanese Edo period double gourd vases, decorated with underglaze blue and a climbing gourd pattern, with relief moulded leaves and reserved lacquer panels with losses, with a red lacquer border to the foot and rim, with a raised and turned foot rim. On Victorian carved giltwood bases. One vase re-stuck at the neck, losses to lacquer panels.
