10741 A Louis XV gilt bronze table clock by Jean Baptiste Baillon, the finely chased symmetrical and balloon-shaped case attributed to Cressent or St Germain, topped with a gilded bronze Cupid with two doves, the movement and enamel dial signed by Baillon, the movement inscribed No ‘666’, the hours marked in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic, the suspension modified, on a later ebonized and bronze-mounted shaped plinth base in louis XVI style.
