Description

Very fine quality gilt bronze wall lights with original gilding and good colour. These lights are strong and bold fittings in a classic early Louis XVI design associated with the designs of Delafosse in Paris. An architect and designer he was at the forefront of Goût Antique or Roman Taste, reintroducing severe vases and tense swags to his decorative interior designs.
