We have not been able to trace Keyt though the Key family of artists in Antwerp may give a clue. Many sculptors from Antwerp travelled to London in the 17th and 18 centuries including Van Dyck, Rysbrack, Nollekens and Scheemakers and greatly influenced the current Baroque styles.
