10225 A large pair of Japanese Arita Imari octagonal vases and covers, the bodies decorated with continuous panels of phoenixes among flowering bushes, the shoulders with lappet shaped panels with flower sprays, the tall rims with geometric patterns reserved on blue backgrounds, the domed lids decorated ensuite with crouching Buddhistic lions. One vase with restored body crack. One cover with rim section replaced.
