10489 A French Regence period ebonised and brass inlaid bureau plat, the rectangular top with leather surface and bronze edge mounts, above three frieze drawers with swing handles and escutcheons, repeated with dummy drawers to the reverse and standing on exaggerated hipped legs with hoof foot sabot. Handles replaced.
