10126 A pair of North Italian dark walnut console tables, the shaped, veneered giallo antico top with an edge moulding, the carved and pierced frieze with Rococo leaf work supported by cabriole legs with finely carved trailing flowers and tight C scrolls joined with a similarly decorated shaped X stretcher, centring on a shell and leaf finial. Areas of replaced carving and signs of historic worm damage.

North Italian but possibly Roman.
